Chili


















美國人在冬天喜歡吃 chili,他們當湯午飯時會吃,與焗薯仔或飯都可。

材料 Ingredient:


  • 油一茶匙 vegetable oil`1 or 2 teaspoons
  • 瘦牛肉碎一磅半至二磅瘦牛肉碎 lean ground beef 1-1/2 to 2 lb
  • 洋蔥一個切碎white onion x 1, chopped
  • 辣椒粉二湯匙. chili power. 2 tablespoons
  • 甜紅椒粉 一湯匙 paprika 1 tablespoon
  • 蒜頭四至五塊切成蓉 garlic 4 -5 clove , minced
  • 孜然一茶匙 cumin 1 teaspoon
  • 喼汁一茶匙wocesterstire sauce 1 teaspoon
  • 花腰豆一罐  pinto beans x 1 can
  • 紅腰豆一罐 kidney beans x 1 can


做法 Methods:

  1. 沖洗豆備用。Rinse the beans from the can.
  2. 用油放入鍋中。Put the oil in the heated pot.
  3. 加入蒜蓉和洋蔥略炒。Add the garlic and onion, gently stir.
  4. 加入牛肉碎,要弄碎Add beef,  and breaking them apart,.
  5. 加入香料略炒。Add the spices and stir them well.
  6. 當肉差不多熟加入豆。When the meat is almost done, add the beans.
  7. 加少量水煮20分鐘,略搞混。Add a little
  8. more water, and simmer for about 20 minutes or so, stirring occasionally.
  9. 加鹽調味。Add salt to taste


**如不喜歡孜然可不加,試味後可加多一些香料。
**如吃素的可改肉為菇。亦可改為火雞肉。
