美國人在冬天喜歡吃 chili,他們當湯午飯時會吃,與焗薯仔或飯都可。
材料 Ingredient:
- 油一茶匙 vegetable oil`1 or 2 teaspoons
- 瘦牛肉碎一磅半至二磅瘦牛肉碎 lean ground beef 1-1/2 to 2 lb
- 洋蔥一個切碎white onion x 1, chopped
- 辣椒粉二湯匙. chili power. 2 tablespoons
- 甜紅椒粉 一湯匙 paprika 1 tablespoon
- 蒜頭四至五塊切成蓉 garlic 4 -5 clove , minced
- 孜然一茶匙 cumin 1 teaspoon
- 喼汁一茶匙wocesterstire sauce 1 teaspoon
- 花腰豆一罐 pinto beans x 1 can
- 紅腰豆一罐 kidney beans x 1 can
做法 Methods:
- 沖洗豆備用。Rinse the beans from the can.
- 用油放入鍋中。Put the oil in the heated pot.
- 加入蒜蓉和洋蔥略炒。Add the garlic and onion, gently stir.
- 加入牛肉碎,要弄碎Add beef, and breaking them apart,.
- 加入香料略炒。Add the spices and stir them well.
- 當肉差不多熟加入豆。When the meat is almost done, add the beans.
- 加少量水煮20分鐘,略搞混。Add a little
- more water, and simmer for about 20 minutes or so, stirring occasionally.
- 加鹽調味。Add salt to taste
**如不喜歡孜然可不加,試味後可加多一些香料。
**如吃素的可改肉為菇。亦可改為火雞肉。
